Helloooo
Happy Friday!! Hope you’ve got lots of fun plans this weekend – I’ve got a trip to Tuesday Morning on the books for tomorrow morning (if it’s not snowing) but other than that I’ll be working on the Simon Says Stamp January card kit and then some Valentine’s day projects for you 🙂 For today, I’m sharing part 2 of my 10 cards, 1 kit from the Spellbinders December kit. Here’s the rest of what I came up with:
Here are some close-ups of the finished cards:
I just love a clean and simple card – though they are sometimes the hardest for me to make as I also like to add lots of things!
I kept the inside of most of these cards simple so they could be used now instead of having to wait for next Christmas.
I love the look of clustered ephemera and these pieces lent themselves to it really well. What do you think of the tag with no ribbon? I thought about adding some but was worried it would be too much.
Again, I can’t get enough of that font!
This is my favorite card of the whole bunch. I love the reverse die cut of the snowflakes and all the layers. That cityscape was my favorite of the ephemera pieces – it looks just like the row of buildings on my street!
Plain and simple – you can use this anytime (well, as long as the snow is appropriate).
I’ll be totally honest…this is my least favorite, I love that pink paper but it needs something more and I just can’t figure out what. Maybe a sentiment?
Again I left things simple so I can use it any time.
And I’m finishing up here with one last college. Every time I see a squirrel, I automatically do that Doug dog “squirrel” voice from Disney’s Up, lol. My cat knows to come running when he hears it and always jumps to the window to see what’s going on. He’s our neighborhood watch and nothing gets past his swishing tail!
Just a few snowflakes and some glitter to brighten up the inside with plenty of room to write a note.
Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my cards. xoxo, Sarah
