Hello Everyone,
Hope you’re having a great week! Today I’m sharing part 1 of my 10 cards, 1 kit using the Spellbinders December card kit. So a lot of these cards are holiday-themed because the stamp sentiments included were Be Festive and Happy Holidays. You could easily substitute other stamps that you have in your stash, but I decided to just go ahead and use the stamps included and I’ll save those to mail out next Christmas. Without further ado here is the video:
Here are your close-ups:
Such a cute deer – I could’ve used lots of those! The small flowers and leaves are finicky pieces, but I love that they include different sizes because this was the perfect addition and often times you can’t find dies that small.
There aren’t enough words to explain how much I adore this sentiment stamp. That font. I want an entire stamp set of it!
I used this bear on several cards – he’s so cute, I love that scarf and big black nose!
I kept the inside simple here with just a stamped sentiment.
This sentiment die cut is a great size – you could use it just by itself on a card front. I’m a bit obsessed with flowers lately (can you tell? lol), probably because it’s so gray and cold outside.
Leaving this inside simple too so this could be used now and not just at Christmas time.
Oh my, I love every card with this sentiment. It works great with the sketchy look of the mason jar too and I love the play of the poppy and mustard colors together. This mason jar was a lot of fun to stamp and there were lots of items to fill it with.
Again keeping the inside simple again…I’ll probably add some type of “to you and yours” sentiment on the inside before I send it next year.
This brown string is a really lovely texture. Instead of tying it in a bow I thought I’d leave it a little more masculine with a knot and then added some flowers to set it off and balance out the bear.
Again I’m keeping the inside simple and added those flowers at the bottom to balance out the bunch on the opposite corner from the front.
Lovely dimension.
Thanks for stopping to check out my cards – make sure you come back tomorrow to see the final five. xoxo, Sarah
