Hope you’re enjoying Memorial Day weekend. Today I’m sharing a really fun project from the April Spellbinders Large Die Kit – it makes a super cute gift card holder that is shaped like a mini gift bag. I made two of the gift card holders and then used the same dies to make a bag-shaped card. Here’s what I came up with:
Here are some still shots of the finished projects:
I’ve never been able to get my hands on the confetti paper pad, but luckily most of the Maggie Holmes collections work together really well. That butterfly is one of my favorite ephemera pieces.
I love those little bow paperclips too!
I always try to use my dies in multiple ways if I can. So I decided to turn this into a mini card instead of a pocket and used all the same die cuts to decorate it up into the bag shape.
I used the SSS Best Ever stamp set for the sentiments. It has a lot of great little birthday sentiments.
As always, thanks for stopping by today. Hope I was able to give you some inspiration for your kit! xoxo, Sarah
