Hello There,
Hope you’re all having a great week so far! Today I’m sharing part 1 of my 10 Cards 1 Kit using the Spellbinders April Card Kit. This kit was so fun and loaded with lots of pink, girly images. I was obsessed with ballerinas when I was little so I really loved the stamp with the different tutus that you could add on. Here are the first 5 cards I came up with:
Here are some close-ups of the finished cards:
I LOVED this pink cardstock it’s a perfect soft warm pink and the project life cards from this kit made for really easy card fronts. I’ve added in the striped bow (so Maggie Holmes – I love it!) a sentiment sticker and card done.
I finished up the inside with another of the sentiment stickers. These were left over from a previous kit, I’ll link them below if they’re still available.
I kept this card sweet and simple. This floral pattern paper with the pink polka-dots is so much fun. I added one of the ephemera circles towards the bottom, trimmed off the excess and that completed my card front.
I then finished off the inside with one of the ephemera phrases.
This card ended up being my favorite. I added in some tulle from my stash to create a little skirt for the girl in the middle and then topped it off with a black bow.
On the inside, I stamped “you are an inspiration” and finished off that panel with a stripe of the same black ribbon across the bottom.
Here I did some simple black stamping for the ballerina and then embossed a few sentiments on some black licorice cardstock. I popped up daughter with some foam tape for a little dimension…
…and added the rest of the sentiment on the inside.
The black dress is one of my favorite images from the kit – the white speckles really make it look like it’s sparkling. I trimmed down one of the larger project life cards to use as the background (love the grid mixed with the sketched florals!) and added the ephemera pieces on top.
Finally, I finished up the inside with one of the tickets.
As always, thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope I gave you some inspiration to use with your kit! xoxo, Sarah
