Sadly, this will be our last Halloween Watercolor Wednesday for the year…I’ve got some more planned to get us through Fall and Winter though. Not sure how long I’ll keep up this series but I love to watercolor so it may go for a while. Hope you are enjoying it too!
Today I’m using Stamping Bella’s Littles Haunted House Scene with these cute squidgy trick or treaters. Here’s what I came up with:
Here are some close-ups of the finished card:
I’ve watercolored with distress ink but never tried adding it on top of watercolor. Really loving how that moon came out it’s the perfect touch of eerie for the scene.
As usual, keeping the inside simple since the front was so detailed. This stamp didn’t include a sentiment so I’ve pulled in Happy Halloween from the Oddball Pumpkin Stack.
I think this was the most detailed picture I’ve done this series – it took quite a while to color and I kept finding little spots that I had missed, but I had a lot of fun painting it and am really happy with the result.
As always thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed the video for today! xoxo, Sarah
