Hello there,
Happy Friday!! This will be the last video for the week – I’m traveling to NYC this weekend for a girls weekend with my sister. I’ll do my best to get a Cricut Monday up for you, just depends on how “on-time” the trains are on Sunday.
Today I’m sharing a tag flip I made using the new Crate Paper Hey Pumpkin release. It’s full of cute spooky goodness. Here’s what I came up with:
Here are your still shots:
Love the iridescent accents in the collection. That is the very last of that black and white striped ribbon I love so much, I’m going to have to try to find some more.
Here I’ve layered some webbing and a web doilie. On top, I’ve added a clothespin spider that I created last year and I just stuck that with some removable glue dots to the recipient can decorate with it or use it on another project.
The simpler tags are always my favorite. I’ve used some leftover cardstock to create a candy corn stripe and then trimmed apart these sentiment squares and popped them up with some foam dots. I think it’s perfect combined with that little ghosty.
Added a little pocket here to share some ephemera – this is the only tag that looks a bit unfinished to me, but I couldn’t think of what else to add and didn’t want to force it. I may go back and try to add some of that webbing before I send it.
I LOVE this bat ephemera – wish there were a few more in the pack! I’ve left this really simple since the background is so busy and just folded his wings a bit to give some dimension and make it look like he’s flying at you!
Here I’m sharing some Tim Holtz gauze that I found this year – I didn’t think of it at the time, but it would be really fun to hide things in it as you wrap it up.
Another simple one…another favorite. This is the leftover piece of web doily from the first tag and I’ve added on a felt sticker spider and some of the cardstock stickers.
I created a belly band to share a few more goodies – some smaller webs, another ghost tag and a strip of enamel dots. This doesn’t hold terribly well, I should’ve made the band tighter but I’ve added a paperclip on top and that should hold everything in place when it’s mailed.
Lastly, I’ve added in a few rosette pins that I made last year. Thought they were perfect to go with the broom hair sentiment.
So that will complete the flip. This was really fun to make – I hope the recipient likes it!! Have a great weekend – xoxo, Sarah
