Hey there,
Today I’ve got a Watercolor Wednesday for you – watercolor is one of my favorite mediums to work with. It takes time to do all the layering, but there’s nothing like the finished result and I love watching it in a timelapse like this.
I’m working with Stamping Bella’s Oddball Witch – so cute. This was released last year but I just picked it up this year and can already tell it’s going to be a favorite. Who am I kidding?? All the Stamping Bella images are my favorites! Here is what I came up with:
And here are your close-ups of the finished card:
I just love her so much! It’s difficult to see, but I’ve stamped a spiderweb over top with some versamark and then heat embossed with some WOW glow in the dark powder. I couldn’t get a good pic in the dark, but it definitely GLOWS!
And that sentiment is just perfect!
A little better view of the web here.
And a final close up of the shading – I’ve been mixing a periwinkle blue and gray together for my shadows lately and am LOVING the effect it gives.
Hope you enjoyed the video today and it gave you some spooky inspiration for your own Halloween cards. Till next time! xoxo, Sarah
