10 Cards | 1 Kit – Spellbinders March Card Kit (Part 2 of 2)

It’s FRIIIIIIDAY!

Hope you have lots of fun plans for the weekend! Normally I’d go home to PA for Easter, but since it supposed to rain all weekend I’ve decided to stay in Balto. It’s just as well though, my niece’s birthday is coming up so I’ll be traveling home for that and Mother’s Day in the next couple weeks.

So today I’ve got part 2 of the Spellbinders March 2019 Card Kit…as I mentioned yesterday, I really liked the colors of this kit and the cactus was really fun to put together. Here’s what I came up with for the final 5 cards:

And here are your close-ups:

This pattern paper is so pretty but a bit overwhelming. I decided to use it as the front of my card and add a panel on top to show off all the pretty colors without things getting too busy.

I love when kits include sentiment stickers. Often there are only a couple sayings to stamp out and the stickers make it much easier to create different types of cards.

I’m not sure what I would use this card for….maybe just as a thanks to a friend for cheering you up a bit?  I really liked the cluster of ephemera, so I just sort of went with it.

I’ve used a piece of ephemera for the sentiment here and added a few stickers to finish it off.

I LOVE those succulents – they are so tiny and cute and when you use the bloom tool on them they get this look of smooth and rough at the same time (sort of leathery).

I used a few more piece of ephemera here to finish off the inside – that pink and purple are some of my most favorite shades <<<heart eyes>>>

Just love that quote – and it was perfect to put with that purse paper!

I finished off with just a sticker on the inside – this will be a great encouragement card to send to my niece!

I’m just in love with shaped shaker cards lately. They are a bit more work since the foam tape is more difficult to put around them but I think the pay-off is worth it. I think the look of the die cut lines over the window is just so extra.

I finished off the inside very simply again and added in a strip of pink to match the flower from the front for a little extra pop.

I went a little crazy putting these together and had several extras. So I packaged a few up and will add them to my happymail stash for a future package.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by to check out my work! xoxo, Sarah
