10 Cards | 1 Kit – SSS April 2019 Card Kit (Part 1 of 2)

Hello Lovelies,

I hope your week is starting off well! Mine has been extra busy again but at last, I’ve got the edits done for my 10 Cards, 1 Kit using the Simon Says Stamp April Card kit. This card kit was called Hello Darling, but I actually didn’t use that stamp at all. My favorite part of the kit was the pattern papers and stickers – this collection is gorgeous and the smaller sentiments from the stamp set were a perfect match for them. I LOVE when SSS has sentiments that combine a type and script font – so pretty!

Here are the first 5 cards I came up with:

Here are some close ups of the finished cards:

This card really made itself – I was staring at all the pretty frames on the sticker sheet and thought I’d make a framed card too.

I love when stickers can be used for inside sentiments. I think this would be a cute little welcome card for the next time friends or family visit or even if you’re welcoming an exchange student to stay with you for a while.

These boots are so pretty – I probably made about 10 of them. The paper piecing is time-consuming but I think well worth it once it’s finished.

I love adding a “blessed” statement onto a thank you card. It’s such a nice way to reiterate how the person you are thanking has made your day brighter.

This is my favorite from this batch of cards. As you know I LOVE a shaker card. I added in some yellow and green sequins to mimic the flowers from the front and I think this is so much fun!

Such a sweet sentiment, a great alternative to “just because”.

I’m such a sucker for gingham – whether it’s paper or fabric it always makes me smile. There’s something very homey and comforting about it.

I went back to this thank you sentiment a lot – you can never have too many thank you cards.

I really liked this sentiment as well – this stamp set made for some really happy cards!

I always try to think of different ways to use things and love the look of these flowers popping up from the bottom of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today – hope you are having fun digging into your kit too! xoxo, Sarah
