3 Floral Cards | Spellbinders December Small & Large Die Kit

Hi-ya,

As promised, I’m back today with 3 more cards using the Spellbinders December small and large die kits. These cards are different from what I usually do, but I really love how they turned out. You can watch how I made them here:

Here are some close-ups of the finished cards:

This is my favorite of the bunch, although I really like them all. I used the very last scrap of my MFT Persimmon cardstock to make that flower and if I’d had more, I’d have used it again on the other cards – that red is perfect to go with this greenery. Time to re-order.

The outside was so busy, I kept the inside simple with just a sentiment. I used Simon Says Stamp’s Kind Flowers to complete all these cards – it’s my favorite to use for thank you cards.

I really love the mix of this blue background with the greenery as well. I can’t seem to get enough mint colored things in my life, lol.

I thought it would be fun and something different to have that flower popping up from the inside of the card. It made the sentiment a little challenging though. I wanted to stamp directly on the cardstock but didn’t want to mess it up after all that work on the front so I just added in a little sentiment strip.

And I love a tone-on-tone as well. I used that pretty blue cut out from the previous card to back the die-cut sentiment.

For the inside, I went with a Neenah panel and added a few of those fronds coming down from the top.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my cards – these were really time-consuming to create but I’m super happy with the way they turned out. I already know who two of them are going to 🙂 xoxo, Sarah
