Hello hello,
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I’m hobbling a bit today because I went to yoga yesterday and it felt wonderful, but now my hips and abs are crazy sore..good excuse not to move much from my craft table! (as if I need one). Today I’m sharing 3 cards I made using the Spellbinders Large Die Kit for October. I loved all the different leaf clusters and that pumpkin is fantastic. It was also nice to get some label dies too because we can use those for any time of year. Here are the 3 cards I created:
and…here are your close-ups:
I wanted to mix in a different “green” for my leaves so I pulled out this spearmint and I’m absolutely loving it. Of course, I used my go-to jellybean green as well. I’ve created a cluster of leaves here (love the embossed texture the dies give) and then popped up the pumpkin and rolled the flowers for some dimension.
I’ll use the Express Yourself stamp set for all of the cards – I was so excited when I unboxed it last month because it covers so many different occasions and the script is gorgeous!
This was my favorite of the bunch – I loved how those longer leaf clusters fit almost all the way across the cards and when you mirror them they create the perfect spot to place that label. I again just accented the label with clusters of leaves and flowers until I felt it looked full enough.
The mix of that tangy orange and yellow cardstock just feels perfectly Fall to me!
Finishing up here with just the simplest of clusters. I’ve used Canyon Clay cardstock for the base and pumpkin and this time added in some white flowers for a more subtle look.
Again, keeping things simple and added in a stripe of that spearmint to complete the inside.
Hope you enjoyed the cards for today, as always thanks so much for stopping by! xoxo, Sarah
