Halloween 2019 | 3 Cards, Ellen Hutson Bear Ware 2 & more

Hi there,

Today I’m working with several Essentials By Ellen stamps and dies but all the cards are centered around the bear from All Inside and Bear Ware 2 stamp set. I just love this bear and every time they come out with an additional set of accessories, I’ve got to grab it!  Here is what I put together for you today:

Here are your close-ups:

I love this treat die cut – the font is gorgeous and when you layer a few together it really adds a punch to the card front. I’ve added some black glitter washi behind it to give a little more pop as well.

1 inside

This stamp set is full of really fun sentiments. I’ve kept the insides simple but changed up my usual cardstock strip a little by making it wider at 1 inch.

I’ve really let the colored cardstock sing here – I love the pop of bright against the black card base. A little white paint splatter would be really nice too…I may go back and add a some actually.

2 inside

For the inside, I’ve used that same stamp set and added in another bear holding one of the little pumpkins.

For the final card, this guy is brewing up some kind of potion. I’ve again layered up that boo sentiment to give it some heft and placed it over a double layer of orange washi. I’ve placed the little spider in the bear’s arms and then added some motion to the scene by stamping the bubbles up and off the side of my panel.

Finally, I’ve finished this last inside panel with one of the stamped sentiments and another wide strip of cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by today – hope you enjoyed the cards! xoxo, Sarah

  1. You can also die cut the bear from card stock, then put the negative piece in your misti corner and line up your stamp in the negative space, close the door on it to pick it up, then place each die cut bear in negative space to stamp. Works great. No taping anything down. Save negative for all future use, along with the dies. Found this idea online a couple years ago. Just thought I’d share, cause it is probably easier.
