Hey there,
Happy Friday! I’ve got loads of crafting projects planned for this weekend and am ready to dig in! For now, I’m super excited to share my first video using the newest Close To My Heart products. This stamp set is called Frightful Friends and they are just so adorable. I’ve paired the stamp set with the Spooktacular paper set and kept these all pretty simple and sweet. Here is what I came up with:
Here are your close-ups:
Isn’t he adorable? I’m picturing him marching down the street in our local Halloween parade. I placed down my sticker, popped up the mummy for a little dimension and sprinkled a few enamel dots around.
Here I finished up the inside with this sentiment sticker – I love that font.
Copics: N0, N4, YR07
I’ve placed a bunch of stickers around this owl and popped up that Eek sentiment. He really does look worried about that spider trying to hitch a ride on his broom! I created the “web” line using my memento marker.
Adding in here another sentiment sticker to finish things up.
Copics: E11, E13, E15, E18, Y35, YG25
This is my favorite – who wouldn’t want to go trick or treating with these guys?!? I’ve placed the dog and cat down directly on the panel and then popped up the bunny for some dimension. The sentiment is stamped with the CTMH ink pad and I have to say I agree with all the other reviews….it’s great!
Finished up with a simple stamped sign.
Copics: YR02, YR07, YR04; YG25, B99, B93, Y35, R20; N0, N4, Y32
Such a cute little phrase and I love the popped up bat – that created some amazing dimension! I kept this really simple just layered on the stickers and then brushed the bats with some Nuvo glimmer pen for a little extra pop.
A few more stickers to finish up things here.
Copics: N0, N4
This owl was so cute I had to use him twice! I just love that sideways look he is giving. I’ve popped him up in front of a moon and added the broom rides sticker towards the bottom.
One last inside panel finished up with one last sentiment sticker.
Copics: E11, E13, E15, E18, YR07, Y35, RV66
Here are a few tags I made using the leftover characters and pattern paper scraps. The tag bases are made from MFT Whip Cream cardstock and measure 2.75 x 5.5 inches. I stamped the small moon and star stamps all over the background and then layered my pattern paper and popped up the little critters.
Thanks for stopping by today – hope I was able to give you some inspiration for your own Halloween projects. xoxo, Sarah
