10 Cards | 1 Kit – Spellbinders June Card Kit (Part 1 of 2)

It’s FRIIIIIDAY!!

Hope you’ve got some fun plans for this weekend! I think I’ll be staying in for the most part but I may take a trip to Tuesday Morning and Michaels tomorrow. For today, I’m sharing part 1 of my 10 Cards, 1 Kit using the Spellbinders June Card kit. It was filled with lots of summery goodness – I especially loved the sunglasses die! Here is what I came up with:

Here are some close-ups of the finished cards:

So you knew I was going to put together those glasses, right? How could I not? Originally I thought the plain candle was the bridge piece but of course, that was wrong. If I were to make these again I think I’d just trim a thin piece of cardstock down.  I only partially attached that project life card with some double-sided tape at the bottom so I could slide the glasses down over the top.

I finished up the inside with one of the stickers. Love the mix of fonts and the pretty gold foiling.

My niece and nephew will really like that you can take these off the card and put them on – even though they won’t help with the sun.

The colors in this kit are so pretty – I love the mix of different pinks and patterns. Here I’ve trimmed down the lemon paper, attached the bottle and banner and then popped up the sunshine sentiment.

Once again, finishing up the inside with a sticker.

This dog balloon is really cute – I love the extra detail of the added dimensional pieces. For this card, I’ve lined the pattern paper with some gold foil, added a few die cuts and popped up the birthday sentiment.

Again, finishing up with one of the stickers.

This is the perfect card to cheer up a friend who’s feeling down. I did some stamp surgery and trimmed the ‘you’ to separate it out, stamped it, and then popped up each of words with some foam tape.

And again, finished up the inside with a sticker.

Saved my favorite of this bunch for last…I dyed a cotton ball with some ink and then stretched the fibers around the cotton candy ephemera pieces. It was touch and go at the beginning, but I’m so happy with how it turned out. I popped them up with some foam dots and added a sticker underneath.

And…finished up the inside with a sticker.

Hope I was able to give you some inspiration to use with your kit. Happy Crafting! xoxo, Sarah
