3 Cards | Spellbinders March Large Die Kit

Hello There,

Hope you’re having a great week so far! Things have been crazy at work and I’ve been too tired to craft after work. And when I’m too tired to craft….I’m TIRED. Thankfully I was able to catch up with a bit of editing tonight, so I’ve got the Spellbinders March Large Die Kit video for you today and I should have the 10c1k videos posted tomorrow or Friday.

I really liked the pop up included in this die kit – it makes for such fun cards and I think next time I’ll add the insert with some removable glue dots so it can be taken out and stand on its own too. The flowers in both the kits this month were really detailed to put together, but oh so gorgeous – I’m loving all the details you can get with each tiny layer.

Here’s what I came up with:

And here are some close-ups of the finished cards:

This card took the longest to make but also has the most ‘pow’ to it. I started off here with a little cluster of flowers around the sentiment…

…and then added this gorgeous flower garden on the inside. the box was easy to assemble and if you’re careful when you squeeze everything together to place it on the fold it really comes together quite easily.

It was a bit difficult to photograph, but here is a shot of the flowers standing straight up.

After the details of that first card, I kept it simple with this one. I’ve added some pattern paper on a cheerful yellow card base, lined up 3 flowers and popped up that sentiment on some foam tape to add some dimension.

On the inside, I used my favorite sentiment from last month’s (February) card kit and finished up with a black stripe along the bottom.

I’m getting a little obsessed with shaped shaker windows lately. Here I created a sort of patchwork along the back of the panel so I could add different colors behind each flower. A lot of work, but the result is super fun.

Again I used that simply wonderful sentiment and kept this super simple with plenty of room to add in an extra note.

Thanks so much for stopping by today – hope I gave you some inspiration to dig into your kit! xoxo, Sarah
