Hello there,
Happy Friday! I’m heading to PA to visit my family this weekend but wanted to quickly share part 2 of my Spellbinders kit with you before I hop in the car. As I mentioned in my last post – I really enjoyed working with this kit. I love that typewriter die and know I will use it on many more projects to come. Without further ado, here is the video of the final 5 cards:
And here are your close-ups:
I just loved these dimensional stickers and thought continuing that gray line from the keyboard would be a good way to add a little more interest to the card front.
This was one of my favorite sentiments from this stamp set and I LOVED that there were so many this time! I wish we had had one that said “You’re just my type”, I thought that was such a cute phase with the typewriter.
Can’t say enough good things about the ephemera as well. I love to make collages with them and they really all worked so perfectly together. Doesn’t hurt that they were in some of my favorite colors as well.
I use this ink so often – it’s just a lovely shade of mint blue. Lawn Fawn inks are my favorite!
I tried to do this typewriter in as many different ways as I could think of.
Another very pretty script font – I love the mix of thick and thin lines.
I often forget that I can add paint to my cards. I was originally planning to add some die cut clouds, but then thought I wanted to give more of the illusion of clouds rather than add then another die cut. I love the soft look of that smugged paint.
I don’t get the Paper Pumpkin kits anymore and I must say, I miss adding those new little cubes of ink to my stash every month.
One final typewriter card for you. Pretty straight forward, but this time I tucked those little leaves in with the paper and left them on their own rather than adding flowers.
Another great sentiment – love that typed font. I’m keeping this stamp set forever!
Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my cards. As I mentioned earlier I’m headed to visit family this weekend, but have a bunch of videos “in the can” as they say and will work on editing those in my spare time – more Valentine goodness to come soon! xoxo, Sarah
