Hi-ya,
Happy Friday! A big congratulations to Lynn Griffin you are the winner of my giveaway – Please email me your address and I’ll get your goodies in the mail!
For today’s Halloween video I used the goodies from my Halloween card kit to create 5 spooky cute greetings cards. You can check out the video here:
Here are some still shots of the finished cards:
I’m in love with these web doilies! Wanted to put one on every card, but I refrained. I used a mini wobbler (trimmed down in half) to pop up a spider sticker and added some cotton thread for extra webbing.
For the inside, I added the matching smaller spider and drew a web line with a marker. I used Simon Says Stamp’s new Frightful Fun stamps for all the inside sentiments and I stamped this one with Lawn Fawn Fake Tan ink.
Such a lovely bunch of trick or treaters 🙂 I used some Twisted Citron Distress Oxide to color the book page fringe and create a little grass for them to stand.
Since the front was so busy, I left the inside simple.
Those white pumpkins – something about the pink eyes is just adorably creepy. I popped this guy up with some foam squares and his spooky sentiment was the perfect finish to that embossed phrase.
This sentiment was stamped with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink and I finished off the inside with a sticker that matches the florals from the outside.
I really love this card, it’s soft and very lullaby-ish (if that even makes sense, lol). I added some American Crafts gold paint to the book page and it really gives this beautiful warm sheen to it. Then I used my fingers to rough up the edges a bit.
I love this inside too – the mix of white, yellow and orange makes me think of candy corn every time I look at it.
I couldn’t resist using another one of those webs. The saying on the darker tombstone is really fun – this would make a great party invite.
With that thought in mind, I finished this off with that frightful fun sentiment and a little bat sticker.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope I was able to give you some spooky inspiration. xoxo, Sarah
