13 Days of Halloween – Day 1 | Stamping Bella’s Oddball Frankenstein

Hello everyone,

I’m here today with my first Halloween card of the season. I saw these new oddball stamps from Stamping Bella and while I wanted each and every one, I narrowed it down to this guy. Isn’t he just delightfully grumpy?

I always love a reason to pull out my watercolors and Stamping Bella images are some of my favorites to use them with. I’ve left in most of the coloring process – if you’re just interested in putting the final card together you can skip to the 3-minute mark.

Here is the full video:

And here are still shots of the finished card:

front

Wasn’t sure what I would do with this sheet of glittery webbing when I picked it up but it was irresistible and I love how it looks as a background. The thick strands were easy to add glue to.

inside

I decided to keep the inside simple and just stamped a repeat of the monster using some Lawn Fawn Grape Jelly Ink.

I stamped this image on Fabriano 140# Hot Press paper with Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink and heat set that with some Simon Says Stamp Fine Detail Clear embossing powder.

As always, thanks for stopping by. xoxo, Sarah
