Hi-ya,
I’m back with more happy mail today. This time sharing some hoop mail I made using Pink Paislee’s Confetti Wishes collection. This collection is so much tropical fun – you can’t look at it without smiling! I made this for an exchange for my half-birthday month, so I’m waaay behind in posting it but I’m really happy with how it came out so I wanted to make sure to share it with you. Here is the video of what I came up with:
And here are some close-ups:
Here is the full frame just as it was mailed out.
Here is the empty hoop…let’s fill it up 🙂
This is a close up of the front – I used cut-a-parts, chipboard stickers, and some tissue paper flowers to create a little collage in the center.
I created two tags – this first one has some ephemera, chipboard, and stickers. I finished it off with a tab on the side and some orange baker’s twine.
The second tag was made combining two of the pattern papers and using one of the tag ephemera pieces – I left that loose so it could move around. I again added a tab and some stickers to finish it off.
I packaged these back-to-back with a cello bag that I saved and topped it with some leftover papers.
I altered some of the frames from the ephemera and packaged those back-to-back in the same way as the tags.
Here are close-ups of each individual frame:
I used some of the really colorful striped paper to create a rosette and added that ephemera record and some tissue flowers in the center.
I also made some mini shaker windows. Some backgrounds were cut-a-parts and others were made from patterned paper and some stickers. I used the 2-inch waterfall pockets from We R Memory Keepers and they make projects like this so easy because you only have to fuse 1 side.
I again packaged these back-to-back like the others.
I created a little pouch of stickers, cut-a-parts, and ephemera for my recipient. This collection is just too fun not to spread around!
I also added in some handmade envelopes and a washi share.
And I finished up the handmade goodies with some flair buttons – I’m totally loving my button maker.
Since this was birthday themed, I thought I’d create a birthday card to send as well. This purple background with the leaves is one of my favorites so I thought I’d let that shine and then popped up a piece of ephemera and placed one of the stickers on top.
Inside I added a few stickers.
And that finishes up the project for today. Hope you enjoyed what I came up with and Happy Birthday to any of you who are celebrating today! xoxo, Sarah
