Whew…my day at work was so busy today, it was nice to unwind a bit doing this watercolor. Something about watercoloring in tiny spaces relaxes me, lol.
I found this Dairy Christmas set a while ago and had to purchase it, my Aunt loves chickens so this will be her card this year. I wasn’t sure what to do with it since the stamp I wanted to use is a bit smaller than what I usually watercolor, so first I thought I’d just make a mini card, but then I thought why not go bigger? I tend to always want to add things, but I try to stretch myself and leave white space every once and a while and this time I think it worked out.
You can check out the process video here:
And her are some still shots:
Extra long. Extra cute.
LOVE me a pun.
I stamped this again after I was done watercoloring and it was slightly off, not off enough to ruin it, but enough to drive me crazy. I should have known better, the watercolor warped the page, so even though I left the stamp on my misti, it just didn’t work. Don’t do what I did.
Thanks for stopping by today. xoxo, Sarah
