Watercolor Wednesday | Stamping Bella – Thanksgiving Oddball

Hello,

Today’s Watercolor Wednesday is another stamp from Stamping Bella, I’m so in love with this oddball series. Their eyes are just so fantastic and I probably love them so much because that’s how tired I look most days! I’m already thankful for a little break coming up next week and that I am not responsible for the cooking of the turkey, though I think I’ll make some whoopie pies and bring them as a dessert option since not everyone in my family likes pumpkin pie (crazy right?!?). Ok, on to the reason you’re here…

Here are your still-shots:

I just love that little pilgrim hat on top of her wild curly hair. This isn’t the most colorful of watercolors but I tried to add some variation by really shading the black/gray areas and kept the turkey as light as I could. If you look close, I did add in a little pop of red for some cranberries in the greenery.

For the inside, I’ve stamped out the sentiment with the same SSS black ink and then again stamped that front image in just an outline with Lawn Fawn Hippo ink.

I love the shine that the gold paint gives to the buckles on her hat and shoes, you can see it really well in the next photo.

Hope you enjoyed the video for today – thanks so much for stopping by! xoxo, Sarah
