Halloween 2019 | Hey Pumpkin – Paper Rosettes

Hi There,

So I mentioned in my unboxing videos last week that I was planning on making some paper rosettes and…here they are. I had so much fun putting these together as they are always some of my favorite embellishments to create. For the most part, I’ve used the Crate Paper Hey Pumpkin line (still thinking of buying more of that…) and I’ve also brought in a few things from my stash. Since I’ve made so many, I’ve left this as a process video but if you need slower instruction on how to create your own, this video should help. Here is what I came up with:

Here are your close-ups:

The width of your paper strip determines how large the finished rosette will be (approximately double the width of the paper) and the scoring determines how thick it will be. These minis are made from cutting the paper to 1 x 12 inches (2 strips attached together) and scoring at 1/2 or 1/4 inch.

These larger rosettes are made from cutting the paper to 1.5 x 12 inches (again 2 strips attached together) and again, scoring at 1/2 or 1/4 inch. I think those mummy wrapped ones are my favorite this year and I’m going to have to grab more of that gauze!

Here are close-ups of each individual rosettes so you can get a good look if you want to case them:
