3 Cards | Spellbinders August Large Die Kit

Hi There,

Hope your week is going well. Today I’m sharing what I came up with using the Spellbinders Large die kit for the month of August. This is a fun clipboard set and the little clips were fun to put together. I’ve been itching to work with the new Maggie Holmes Heritage collection so I made some collage type cards using some of those goodies and I’ll be back tomorrow to show you a few more ideas using the other die cuts that were included. Here is what I came up with:

Here are your still shots:

My thoughts for this card were maybe congratulations on a new home? I love that little picture of the house at the bottom. I added in the ruler at the top and then towards the end a little swatch of ribbon to give the idea that this is maybe a work board for some re-design or refurbishing plans.

I used another Paper Pumpkin stamp for these cards, it’s from the December 2017 kit. I’ve stamped out congratulations here using Lawn Fawn Deep Sea ink and finished up with a stripe to match the front.

Here I’ve created a thank you card, I added one of the clear stickers with the grateful sentiment on the music card and then layered the ribbon (LOVE THAT) and popped up the wings on the butterfly.

For the inside, I’ve stamped a strip of sweet blush cardstock with some Lawn Fawn Wild Rose ink to pull in more of that lighter pink from the pattern paper on the front and accented that with another of the clear stickers.

This last one still feels a bit undone to me but I added a bunch of things and nothing felt right. I think what I’ll end up doing is writing or stamping something on that tag before I send it, I’ll just have to wait and see what to put depending on who this goes to.

Again, I stamped this sentiment with some Lawn Fawn Deep Sea ink and accented with a strip to match the pattern paper on the front.

Thanks so much for stopping by today – hope I was able to give you some ideas to use with your kit. xoxo, Sarah
