3 Cards | Spellbinders July Large Die Kit

Hey There,

Hope you’re all having a great week so far! It’s been beautiful here the past few days and I’m hoping we’re through the summer heat and finally moving in towards Fall – my favorite time of year!

Today I’m sharing what I came up with using the Spellbinders July Large Die Kit. I created one of the full, stand-alone bikes and then 3 cards for you. Since the bike idea was a little one-note (albeit gorgeous) I’ve used some of the dies to create some patterned cards to give you a couple additional ideas. Here’s what I came up with:

Here are your close-ups:

This was honestly a lot of work to put together. Like, originally I was thinking it would be great for table decorations for a party, but I’d have to REALLY love the person I was making all of them for! Still, it’s a beautiful die-cut and everything fits together super well. I’m overall pleased, just not sure how often I’ll use it.

Now, this is more my speed – it was much faster to put together as a single layer and I still got a nice dimension effect with the wheel and handlebar. I tucked a few flowers in the wheel, stamped a sentiment and it’s ready to go.

For this set of cards, I’m using the Reverse Confetti – A Friend Like You stamp set.

For these last two sentiments, I’ve used the thanks die from the same truck set I added to the video on the small die this month – I’ll link it again below for you. Here I’ve used the triangles left over from all of the wheels I cut (5 total) and created some tone on tone stripes going up the front of my panel.

I stamped off the inside using some Lawn Fawn – Minty Fresh ink.

For this last card, I used another of the wheel dies and created a pattern alternating the inner and outer ring.

I’ve stamped off the inside here using Versa Magic – Perfect Plumeria.

Thanks for stopping by today – hope I was able to give you some ideas to use with your kit! xoxo Sarah
