Hey there,
Back today with part 2 of my Simon Says Stamp 10C1K using the new Party Like a Panda card kit. Soooo adorable! I loved working with the little panda images and cute punny sentiments. Here’s what I came up with for my final 5 cards:
Here are your close-ups:
Loved all the blues and greens in these papers. Here I combined this streamer pattern paper with some of the green check and added a stripe of after midnight for him to sit on. I’ve placed the bear directly on the card base and then popped up the balloons with some foam dots.
I’ve added an additional stripe of that dark blue to the side to finish up my inside panel.

This is my favorite card out of all 10, hands down. I wanted to create the idea of the bear floating through the air and love how this turned out. I’m working on a longer card base to allow more room to create that “sky” idea. I added some stripes to the background for a little more interest and then added my ballons directly to the card base and popped up the bear and balloons on individual wobblers so I could get as much movement as possible. Finally finished up with some stamped stars and Studio Katia crystal fusion sequins.
For the inside, I’ve accented the sentiment with some more stars and one last turquoise stripe along the bottom.

I couldn’t get enough of this rainbow paper, so I’m using it again. Keeping things simple though. I added the paper and then popped up the sentiments with some foam tape. The bear is glued directly on the card base and for a little something different I’ve popped up one of the presents to cover up the cake.
More stars…I couldn’t get enough of those either.

I kept wanting a bamboo image to go with these bears so I thought about what could mimic that and came up with some paper straws. I trimmed the straw to about 1-inch pieces and then cut them in half and used some scor tape to stick them onto my card front. It’s not perfect but I like the dimension and it gives off the idea I was going for.
I wanted to pull in a little more orange from the hat on the front so I did that with some stamped confetti on the inside.

Finishing up here with a shaker card. I used MFT’s blueprints 32 frame to create the window and filled it with a leftover SSS mix from a few card kits ago and some gold stars. I popped up the panda so he was just peeking over the frame and finished him off with a party hat.
I continued the same red paper from the frame on the front to finish off my inside panel with a couple stripes.

Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my cards. Hope I was able to give you some ideas to use with your kit. xoxo, Sarah

I love all of these. I love that you also show the insides. So glad that I bought this kit and found so many great ways to stamp it.
Thank you! I really loved this kit too 🙂 Glad I could give you some ideas!
