Hellooooo there,
Hope your week is going well! Today I’m sharing the first 5 cards I came up with using the Spellbinders May Card Kit. I’m loving this kit more and more with each new release – this one was full of outdoorsy goodness. Here’s what I came up with:
Here are some close-ups of the finished cards for you:
Those project life cards make for such quick cards. Here I popped it up on some woodgrain pattern paper and added in a few pieces of ephemera.
I love when they include sentiments in with the ephemera.
This bear is so cute – he has such a great look. It almost looks like a hand-carved stamp.
I finished up the inside with a piece of ephemera again and added in that little xxx so all I need to do is sign my name and this card is ready to go!
I fussed around with this card quite a bit and I’m still not completely in love with it. I love all the elements individually but it just doesn’t feel finished for some reason.
Since I used the dance card on the front, I thought this would make a good anniversary card.
This is one of my favorites of the bunch. I love the way the little cluster came together – that bee was one of my favorite images and the leaves just worked so great to tie everything together.
Finished up here with a stamped sentiment and added a pink stripe along the bottom to match the ticket from the front.
You knew I was going to pop up that butterfly – how could I resist?
Again finishing up here with one of the ephemera phrases and also pulling in some of the pink from the front.
Thanks for stopping by today – hope I was able to give you some inspiration to use with your kit! xoxo, Sarah
