March Madness | Happy Mail Goodie Box Tower, Feat. Maggie Holmes Sunny Days

Hey There,

Hope your week has started off well! Today I’m sharing some happy mail. I saw this goodie box tower on bambidearr’s channel and instantly had to give it a try. You can check out her video to get all the measurements and instructions. It was so much fun to make and I love working with the Sunny Days collection. I did put part of mine together slightly differently and I’ll walk you through that, but it really all depends on how you stitch your paper (if you decide to stitch your paper). Here’s the video of what I came up with:

Here are some still shots:

front

You all know I’m a Maggie Holmes junkie, but this collection is just so GORGEOUS!! I love the florals and the stripes and the black and white photos. She mixes so many different patterns and they just go together so fabulously!

This is the first time I’ve stitched a project and it was time-consuming but I LOOOOOVE how it turned out and will definitely be doing more of it.

Pretty, pretty layers.

side

Little faux clasp to help keep the sides together.

Sometimes I’m leery of covering up a sentiment. I almost feel like I’m wasting it but you definitely need to make the collection work for you so if it has to be covered, it has to be covered.

That hotel is my favorite piece from the collection…hands down.

lid top

How perfect is that drink with that sentiment?

inside with top

Love the mix of that polka-dot, blue floral and two-tone pink.

rosettes

I made some cute little rosettes to put in one of the trays and cherry-picked some of the pattern papers to add on top…

…and also made some sweet little bows out of the patterned paper.

Thanks for stopping by today – hope this inspired you to try something new! xoxo, Sarah
