Today I’ve got some happy mail to share with you. This was another swapbot exchange, I just love all the different ideas that swappers come up with. I had so much fun putting this together – the Willow Lane collection is gorgeous – expect more to come! Here is the video of how I put everything together:
Here are some close-ups of the finished projects:
I thought this pretty purple paper was the perfect background for my envelope. The yellow, teal and orangy-pink colors really pop off of it.
I love that pom-pom frame and that sunshine in my soul sentiment makes me smile every time I read it.
Washi was the perfect way to add a little more color in the corners and running it in different directions added some movement to the design.
This was the first time I made these award-style embellishments, the mix of ribbon and paper is really fun. Here is a close shot of each one:
I always love some flair buttons and this collection has great designs to pull out and highlight. I especially love the little floral.
I fussy-cut some of the butterfly patterned paper and then layered the smaller images on top of the larger, gluing only down the middle which allows for some awesome dimension when you lift the top wings.
Lastly, I made this card for a little handwritten note…
and stuffed my envelope full of the goodies.
Thanks for stopping by today – hope you liked the project! xoxo, Sarah
