3 Cards | Spellbinders January Small Die Kit

Hi-ya!

I’m back today with my cards using the Spellbinders January Small Die kit. These paper doll kiddos are so cute. Time-consuming to put together, but what a wow once they are done! Spellbinders really thought of everything with this one – right down to the little blush on the cheeks. Here’s what I came up with:

Here are your close-ups:

1

Such a cute little guy handing you a sweet heart-shaped balloon. Who could resist him?

I wish I could get that mint ink to photograph better – it’s so pretty in real life.

Cardstock Colors:

  • PTI : Sweet Blush, Enchanted Evening, Mint Julep, Cocoa Bean
  • MFT: Whip Cream, Black Licorice

3I originally wanted to have the outstretched hands being held, but it didn’t fit on the card very well. Thank goodness I used the other type of arms on the opposite sides and those worked out.

I liked the look of the Tim Holts sticker on the first card so I carried that through and finished up the last two cards with them also.

I just had to keep creating all these cute little characters. I did my best to squeeze 3 of them on the card front and while it won’t fit in a regular envelope, I think it’s cute to have those ponytails peaking over the edges. I wish I could’ve found a way to show the pigtails on the middle girl a little better, but I didn’t want to cover the faces of the other girls.

These snarky stickers came in a SSS kit a few months ago and I didn’t use any of them then,  so when I was looking for some type of ‘best friend’ sentiment I took a look through and thought they were perfect.
