Hi There,
Hope you’ve all had a great week! I’ve got a few cards to share with you that I’ve made with the Spellbinders January Large Die Kit. I also created some embellishments with that cute bouquet die – that was my favorite part of the kit. Here’s what I came up with:
Here are some close-ups:
This is my favorite of the bunch – you know how I love a clean card and don’t get me started on that mint color, I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of it!
I mentioned it before, but I loved the stamp set that came with the January card kit – it had such great sentiments.
I grabbed some rosegold foil paper from my stash to cut out some of these elements and really love how it looks. This lacey heart is so pretty.
I also really liked those smaller leaves – they didn’t fit inside the bouquet wrap so I wanted to be sure to use them on at least one of the cards. Using them as a border would be really pretty on the front of some notecards as well.
For my final card, I’ve combined the heart with the bouquet (popped up with some foam dots). I topped this off with the cherish sentiment cut out of that same rosegold foil paper and this time popped up that bouquet with some foam dots.
I again finished this up with one of the stamps from the card kit. If you remember, I actually cut that stamp apart for the cassette tape card, so I just placed it back together and you’d never know it had been cut.
I LOOOVED that bouquet and thought it would make for some really nice goodies to add as extras in some swap-bot exchanges and/or happy mail. They were really detailed to cut out and put together so I wrapped them up individually and finished them off with some gold Maggie Holmes sentiment stickers.
As always thanks so much for stopping by today. Wishing you a day full of love and sunshine. xoxo, Sarah
