4 Cards | Spellbinders October Small Die Kit

Hello Everyone,

I’ve been itching to get this video out and things just continued to prevent it but at last, I’m sharing my first (of many) Spellbinders videos with you. Today I’ve got 4 cards using the small die kit of the month from October. I am still amazed at the amount of dies included in this kit. Here is a look at what I came up with:

Here are some close ups of the finished cards:

As I mentioned in the video this was my take on the sample card instructions they provided. I love that they include this with the dies to get you started and think it turned out really cute.

Rather than pull out my stamps, I continued with the Tim Holtz small talk stickers for the inside sentiment.

I knew I wanted to create a shaker as soon as I saw this die. It was a little more work since the sides of the die cut are very narrow, but well worth it when looking at the finished result.

This SSS Thankful Heart stamp set is so beautiful – the lettering is so classy and it really could carry a card all by itself.

I trimmed the smaller sentiment out of the wishbone so I could use it by itself and then worked it in around the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment. Remember stamps and dies are just a jumping off point – don’t be afraid to change them to make them work for what you need.

Apple of my Eye is another great SSS stamp set – it’s super fun and cute.

I let this gorgeous paper shine and just trimmed it out and added a popped up wishbone on top. I did trim out the sentiment from a second gray wishbone and add that on top of this white one. Again, make your stamps and dies work for you!

Such a pretty sentiment. I’ll have a full video using this stamp set for you very soon!

Thanks for stopping by today – I’ve got a few more fall cards coming up and then it’s on to the Christmas Series. xoxo, Sarah
