10 Cards | 1 Kit – SSS July Card Kit (Part 2 of 3)

Hello there,

Sorry I’m a bit slower in getting these videos out. I settled on my new condo on Friday and I’ve been cleaning and packing and ahh it’s so overwhelming. I can’t wait to have everything done and be fully moved in but that won’t be until the middle of next month. It doesn’t help that my internet is incredibly slow right now for some reason and it’s taking over a day to upload to YouTube!

Anywho…for this set of cards I focused on using the stickers that were included and here is what I came up with:

Here are some close-ups of the finished cards:

I wasn’t sure what to do with these mini stickers and then when I saw that “you made my day” sentiment I thought, oh a calendar. I used my Cricut to create the grid, write in the numbers and a few events, and then cut a thin red circle to highlight one of the days.

Sweet and simple. I think this would be great to use as a thank you card for a birthday or special trip you went on.

Do you ever like the inside of your cards better than the outside? This happens to me every so often, so I just cut the halves apart and use the inside as a front panel. I really loved those rainbow stickers.

I also really loved the script sentiments in the stickers – I could use a whole sticker pack of just those.

I’m not sure about the background on this one. I liked the wooden panel paper but the colors were a bit crazy. I think it works, but it’s just a bit busier than what I usually do. Love the cacti stickers though 🙂

I can’t take credit for the inside sentiment – I found it on the internet, but I think it’s the perfect inside finish to the stuck on you stamp.

I really love this card. It sort of came together by accident and once I had the idea, I had to do it.  I really love the upside down hearts for the seeds too.

I added these watermelon stickers and a strip of the lime green to finish off the inside. I think I will write inside with my white gel pen and that will allow the white outline on the watermelon stickers to really pop.

Aren’t those butterflies gorgeous?!? This card really speaks for itself. I love how the colors of the butterflies match the colors in the sentiment letters perfectly.

And you know how happy I was to find this matching sentiment for the inside!

As always…thanks so much for stopping by to check out my cards. I hope I was able to give you some inspiration on using the sticker portion of this month’s card kit.

xoxo, Sarah
