Hi-ya!
Sharing another Swapbot exchange with you today. Pocket letters are new to me and I had a lot of fun creating this one. I have fun anytime I’m working with the Flourish collection though – or anything Maggie Holmes for that matter. Have you seen the sneak peeks of her new Willow Lane collection?? GORGEOUS – I can’t wait for Scrapbook.com to get it in stock! But back to the pocket letter. My partner didn’t have a ton of info in her bio she did say she likes notebooks and journals so I created a mini one for her to add in as an extra goodie. Let me know if you’d like a more detailed tutorial of how I put it together.
Now without further ado, here is the process video:
And here are your close-ups:
I just love the embossed look on that pheasant sticker. I combined a vellum tag, library sticker, and a few cut-a-parts to get this layered look; then added that gold puffy sticker for some shine.
This was one of the cut-a-parts from a 12 x 12 sheet and I thought it made a perfect title for the project. I finished it off with this butterfly dimensional and then off to the side, that gold trim which balances out the gold sticker on the last section.
Here again, I layered some tickets with that paper doily and added a few stickers. Then finished with a chipboard embellishment to top it off.
I created a little mini journal using a scrap of some 12×12 double-sided paper and filled it with plain computer paper.
Here is a close-up of the stitched binding.
Thanks for stopping by – hope you have a great day! xoxo, Sarah
