Hello there,
I’m back today with Part 2 of my 10 Cards, 1 Kit featuring the Simon Says Stamp May 2018 Card Kit. I did a bit of water coloring, but for the most part, kept these cards pretty simple and just let that beautiful sentiment stamp set shine. You can check out the video here:
and here are your close-ups:
It’s been so long since I’ve watercolored – I had a lot of fun with this image. I know there are such tiny pieces in the picture but I find this type of coloring to be so relaxing.
I just love the “boom” of adding the last word of the sentiment on the inside by itself. I think it magnifies the significance.
This MFT Pineapple cardstock matched perfectly with the bright yellow in this paper collection.
Love that sentiment.
This is one of my favorite cards of the bunch. I love the look of the 3 squares with the little highlight of yellow and if you can’t tell by now I love those enamel heart stickers too!
Such a pretty sentiment. I really liked how the smaller sentiments worked with the larger stamped or die cut heart.
I was disappointed I lost the footage for this card, it is also one of my favorites. I loved this background paper – If they made a pack in the entire rainbow of colors I’d totally buy it!
I usually don’t heat emboss on the inside of my cards, but I wanted to match the gold on the outside and this SSS white cardstock is really thick and sturdy so it worked out well.
I’m ending with all my favorites, but I love this one too lol. That amazing sticker is super fun!
I’m really happy with how my floral corners came out too – I may play around with some masking and try to create an entire bottom border.
As always, thanks for stopping by – more paper goodness coming soon! xoxo, Sarah
