10 Cards | 1 Kit – SSS April Card Kit (Part 2 of 2)

Happy Friday!

Hope you’ve got lots of fun plans this weekend. I’m traveling home to Pennsylvania to spend some time with family. Before I head out I wanted to share the second half of my 10 Cards, 1 Kit with you. I’m really excited about the last card especially – hope you like it too.

Here are your close-ups:

I’m really happy with how the silver lining came out, I’ll definitely use that on more cards in the future and I have tons of the foil left.

That mermaid lagoon ink was almost a perfect match to the card stock.

Prismacolors: 1092, 923, 929, 1097, 912, 989, 916, 992, 994

This is one of my favorite cards! I love how that butterfly flutters and I can’t believe I didn’t think of using one of those wobblers sooner. The photographs really don’t do this purple cardstock justice – it is such a perfect plum color.

This was also one of my favorite insides – I love the purple and pink together and think it looks really neat stamped off to the side like that.

Sweet and simple and I kept thinking of the Carebear stare while I was making it – I probably just aged myself there 🙂

What do you guys call those lines? a whoosh? a whir? a swirl?

This is so out of my normal. I’ve been trying to get more into mixed media. (I think this is closer to that category?) Honestly, I think it turned out ok, but it feels really busy and it’s not my favorite. I think it’s good to try different things out though.

Wasn’t that rainbow lined notebook paper amazing? I sort of want that inside every notebook I own!

This is by far my favorite card just because I’m so happy it worked out. That owl is deliciously grumpy and sort of makes me think of Ernie from Bert and Ernie too (probably the eyebrows).

This would be a great card for that curmudgeon in your life. Or just someone who needs a smile.

Prismacolors: 1098, 1076, 1099, 943, 941, 1075, 1002, 916, 989, 912

As always, thanks for stopping by to check out my cards. More coming soon – have a great weekend! xoxo, Sarah

I’m having trouble linking to Simon Says Stamp using the new picture link program that I’ve set up. I’ve stopped including those links for now because I know how frustrating it is when you click on a link and it’s invalid. Please know that I’m working on it and will hopefully be including those links again soon!
