I’m back with the second half of the Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit. You can check out the video with the rest of the cards here:
I really loved the soft rosy feel of this card kit.
I think if I had to do this over again, I’d stamp the sentiment straight in the center of the label before adding it. It is stamped straight on the card, but it looks a bit wonky on the tilted label.
This card is so much fun. I’d been wanting to use this pocket feature since I got the Blueprints 32 die set and this was the perfect way to use it because I could still let that pretty floral paper shine.
I love using pattern papers to make my own backgrounds – you’re guaranteed a one of a kind card that way.
I know I mentioned it before, but the sentiments in this stamp set are so great – who wouldn’t want to get a card telling them they’re amazing?!? and we definitely all need to hear it once in a while.
I’d like to find a rose gold/copper embossing powder to match the colors on the patterned paper. If any of you have one you like, please let me know.
Last but not least – this was one of my favorites of the bunch!
Thanks for stopping by! I’ve got one or two more Halloween cards to share with you and I’m also working on the Stamptember Card Kit too so stay tuned for those.
