Gift Boxes/Packaging

13 Days of Halloween – Day 6

Hello everyone – Happy FRIDAY!

Today I’ve got a Part 1 (of 2) for you and we’ll be creating 6 mini cards with matching envelopes to place inside an adorable gift box using the new Lawn Fawn die set. I’m super in love with the project, it will make a great gift for any of your Halloween loving friends and I can see myself making lots of these boxes for all kinds of holidays (or just any reason at all!) You can check out the video here:

Wait until you see that box up close – it’s gorgeous, I would love to get this as a gift!

All 6

I knew I wanted to make something with that box die, but couldn’t decide what to fill it with so I started looking through some of my scraps, played around a bit and  eventually figured out that 2 of these mini cards fit perfectly side by side. Here are some close ups of each of the cards:

It’s rare that the first card I make in a set ends up being my favorite, but this one is. It’s totally that glittery webbing…and yes…I made these cards out of scraps and I also saved the scraps I cut off of the web. Hey, you never know which piece will be that perfect size!

I could make a card every day with those witches feet!

What’s that? purple glitter tape? Yes, please.

Simple, but sweetly eerie…

I’ve made it my goal to use all of that Boo paper pad as well as the matching puffy stickers and enamel dots. Although, a lot of my extras go to my niece Lily – so she’s probably hoping I don’t succeed in that 🙂

I tend to hoard my supplies and I’ve been trying to change my mind set on that because we buy things to use them and get enjoyment from them, so why are they just sitting in my stash right ?!?

I could put that candy corn stripe pattern on something every day too!

And that’s in for today – see you tomorrow!
