Hello all,
Hope your week has started off well. It’s day 2 of my Halloween series and today I’d like to share with you a 5 Cards, 1 Cut-A-Part video:
I had a lot of fun working with this cut-a-part. Here are some close ups of the finished cards.
I love these spider stickers from Recollections – they’re super sparkly. I had a little trouble with it staying stuck down to the paper though, so I ended up adding some 1/8 inch score tape to the back of all the legs and now it’s good to go.
This washi tape is really fun too. I kept singing that choir version of “Double Double Toil and Trouble” (from Harry Potter) in my head while I was making these cards.
Like I mentioned in the video, these pebbles stickers have a really awesome texture to them, they’re very soft but rubbery at the same time and have a great matte finish to them.
These sentiments from the Which Way stamp set are super great – they’re so versatile and cover any type of Halloween card you want to make.
When I saw those bat shaped paperclips I was done – they have opened my eyes to a whole new world of embellishments and since then I’ve acquired some shaped like flamingos, diamonds and coffee cups and there are no signs of this slowing down, so you’ll be seeing more of these to come I’m sure.
Thanks so much for stopping by today – stay tuned for more Halloween fun tomorrow!
xoxo, Sarah
