Hello hello! Today I’m sharing with you the Spellbinders Stencil of the Month – Burst Mode – this is a 5 layer set of stencils that makes a burst of rays with two additional layers to add a bit more pop to your design. I decided to make mine into a rainbow with some gold accents since St. Patrick’s day is coming up. The first 3 layers for the burst have exactly enough segments to create a full rainbow – I can’t tell you how happy I was when I spaced it out and it worked!

I used my distressed oxide inks to blend in the rainbow, then did a spray accent of some shimmery gold, and topped it off with some texture paste for a little extra dimension.
