Hi There,
Today I’m sharing 3 cards I created using the Ellen Hutson Subbing In stamp set. I saw this and had to grab it – the sub and little octopus are just so cute! I actually made these before I started all the Halloween projects but am just now getting down to editing the footage. Still totally in love with the cards (especially that first slider).
Here is what I came up with:
Here are some close-ups for you:
I immediately thought of this card when I looked at the stamp set. So much fun to have the sub “diving” and then reveal that sentiment.
For the inside I’ve lightly stamped another sub and finished off with “you are sublime” – love the punny-ness of these sentiments.
Copics: Y35, RV66, R17, BG13, YG25, B99, RV63, BG10, YG41, YG45, YR07
I’ve kept this card pretty flat and really like the more cartoon look of the simple black stamped coral. I’ve strategically stamped those smaller pieces where the larger overlapped and colored them in so you wouldn’t see the extra lines.
For the inside, I’ve added in the bottom half of the sub in a bright yellow and I’ll probably stamp in another sentiment once I decide who this is going to.
Copics: Y35, RV 66
For this last card, I had to feature that octopus – he is just too much fun and I’ve got him floating/swimming out in front on a mini wobbler to add a little more action to the scene.
Again, saving my inside sentiment for when I actually mail this but I did add a second stamping of the octopus for some added interest.
Copics: R17, BG13, RV63, YG25, B99
Thanks so much for stopping by today – I had so much fun playing with this stamp set! xoxo, Sarah
