10 Cards, 1 Kit | Patio Party (Part 1 of 2)

Hello there,

Hope everyone’s week is going well. So rather than stare at my mailbox waiting for the next Simon Says Stamp card kit to arrive, I decided I would create my own using one of the new paper pads I picked up recently. I fell in love with this Patio Party collection when I saw the reveal video from Creativation and snatched it up as soon as it was available. I sat down with it this past weekend and here is the first half of what I came up with:

Here are some stills for you:

Aren’t these ladies adorable?!?

I think this makes a great encouragement card.

In LOVE with the texture on those masks!

I really like when you can combine several cut-a-parts to create a sentiment.

This will come in handy the next time I have a friend cat sit for me 🙂

I’d like to have those slippers in real life 🙂 ohh how cute would it be to pair this card with some slippers as a gift!

This striped paper was one of my favorites from the collection. I always thought that the scrapbooking papers from a collection were just larger print versions of the 6×6 paper pads, but this collection had a lot of different 12 x 12 papers. (That, or I was confused and looking at a totally different collection, lol.)

I’m always looking for different ways to finish off the inside of cards. Honestly, I’m not sure I’m in love with this one.

This paper collection has some really super cute tags.

I feel like I’m going to be making a lot of these bouquet wrap cards.

I’m definitely checking to see if I can get a 12 x 12 of that floral paper.

Lawn Fawn is my favorite ink to use and this may be my favorite color of all. That Minty shade is so soft and subtle.

Not sure if you can tell, but the thanks is made up of that floral paper that I love.

I really like the bold pop of the yellow with the black and white stripe.

And how serendipitous that there was an orange slice in the spa day set!

I think this would make any recipient smile 🙂
