10 Cards | 1 Kit – SSS March Card Kit (Part 1 of 2)

Hello there – hope you’re having a great weekend! We had some crazy wind yesterday, but today we’ve got some lovely sunshine and it really feels like spring. That just happens to be perfect weather to share my 10 Cards, 1 Kit using the Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit with you. It is sold out but you can still see all contents and purchase any items you might be interested in individually. I LOVED THIS KIT…so let’s get started:

Here are your close-ups:

I thought of this card as soon as I watched the unboxing video. I knew I wanted to make some sort of a seed packet and I think this worked out pretty great. I couldn’t really add that sound in the video, but adding the seed beads inside really gives it some extra fun.

I really love the paper and stickers from Carte Bella, I pretty much used all of mine by the end of the videos and I’m thinking about grabbing some more for my stash.

This was my favorite sentiment of the kit – it’s so encouraging!

This bunny is adorable and that pompom really takes it to the next level. I know I’ll use this on lots of spring cards in the years to come.

I was obsessed with The Velveteen Rabbit when I was little – I had one of those kits where the book came with a cd that read it to you and I think I wore it out. I was thinking of that when I was coloring this guy and wondering where that got to.

I kept trying to add that carrot on the front with the bunny and I just couldn’t make it look right – a few on the inside was a much better option.

It’s hard to choose a favorite from this bunch, but if I HAD to choose, this would be it.

Love the flowers, love the sentiment.

I toted with maybe adding some window panes to this but in the end, decided less was more and I’m glad I did.

I’m making it a goal of mine to try to make some more masculine cards this year – I know that the black paper has the names of flowers on it but this could be used as a thank you for a gift of flowers. Or you could also substitute out a plain black or gray paper too.

That script die is soooo pretty – It works on just about any type of thank you card.

I was worried that yellow wasn’t going to show up bright enough, but on that cream cardstock I only had to stamp it once and I think it’s very “readable”.

5

So pretty – I think anyone would be happy to receive this thank you card.

The sentiments in this stamp set were really great – I love all the different ways to mix and match them to say thank you.

And that will finish us up for today. As always thanks for stopping by to check out my cards. xoxo, Sarah
