Hello,
Happy almost Friday! Anyone have fun plans for the weekend? I’m hoping to make a trip to Tuesday Morning at some point, it feels like it’s been forever since I’ve gone. Not that I really need anything, but I’m sure I’ll find something fun. Speaking of needing something I wanted to let you know that Michaels has all their organizers on sale and there’s an additional 20% coupon off your entire order (even sale items) still valid through today, it’s a great time to stock up. You can find all the info in their app.
Anywho…without further ado, here is the video for the second half of the SSS January 10 Cards, 1 Kit:
Here are some stills of the finished cards:
It’s been a while since I’ve done a gate-fold card I always like the way these look.
That Delicata ink is a really lovely shade of pink.
This card turned out to be my favorite! I love the look of texture paste and it’s so much fun to work with.
I kept it simple and sweet on the inside, just a touch of pink for the sentiment and that’s it.
I always try to use everything in the kit at least once. I kept going back to the heart stickers and was glad was able to make it work with this card. I think it looks perfect there actually.
LOOOOVE that minty fresh ink – I could use it on every card!
Ok, this card is my second favorite, I just love this pop-up idea.
Looks just like a cookie right?!? Yum.
The pink gingham reminds me of a picnic table.
Again, I could put that mint ink on everything and I’m really in love with those block words. I’ll definitely use this stamp set over and over again each year.
Here are some close-ups of the envelopes I embellished. I used that same stencil and texture paste on 3 of them. I also added some of the ephemera pieces to the other two.
Be warned…if you add that glitter dust to your texture paste…It will go everywhere and continue to go everywhere every time you touch that envelope afterward. It’s so pretty though right?
Even with the sparkly glitter paste, I think this is my favorite envelope. There’s just something so sweet about that tied on tag.
Thanks for stopping by – xoxo, Sarah

Hello, what are the dimensions of the the base for the gatefold card? Thank you so much, Renee
Hi Renee,
You want to trim your paper to 11 x 4.25 inches and then score at 2.75 in from each end.
