Hi-ya!

Just a quick update since some of you might not have watched my last video…

I know I’ve been a bit MIA – I’ve been having a lot of computer issues. In fact my computer crashed 3 times while I was working on that last Thanksgiving card, so I finally gave up and ordered a new one. I’ll have a Christmas series starting in the next few days, but everyone seems to really enjoy the 10 cards videos so I wanted to be sure and share the November kit with you. Especially since this was such a fantastic kit!

Now on to part 1:

The stamp set that came in this set is HUGE and the large floral kind stamp is just gorgeous. It makes a great card front just by itself! I had a bit of trouble with my gold embossing powder, so those bumps are totally the fault of that, not the stamp. It was really old though, like we’re talking 10+ years so I picked up some new Recollections powder and it’s working much better.

There are so many additional phrases for the inside of the cards too. I used a different one on all 10 cards.

When I saw those old fashioned busts and that phrase…I just couldn’t resist. This is one of my favorite cards of the bunch.

My ‘k’ got a little nicked because of that old embossing powder, but I’m still happy with the result. I’ll call it shabby chic? That periwinkle background was my favorite paper of the pack.
