Hope you all had a weekend! Today I’m sharing the 10 cards I created using the Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit. This one was wedding themed and included some fabulous papers and a stamp set with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.

The watercolors that came in the kit were really creamy, had a great pigment and mixed together well. I had been thinking about purchasing one of the larger sets of sample dot sheets and I think as a card maker I would really get a lot of use out of them. I can’t justify spending the money on it at the moment (because I do already have a nice set of watercolors), but it’s definitely on my wish list.

The first and last cards ended up being my favorites:

I really love that black patterned paper, I pulled it out to add to the very first card but it wasn’t quite what I needed and I kept going back to it with each card until finally the last one where it got to shine.

I also love the way the “loose” watercolor turned out on this card:

I had a lot of fun creating all the cards this month. At first I was worried that I would run out of ideas because there was really only one main stamp to use, but I do like a challenge and I was surprised at how much easier it was to come up with different ways to use it than I thought it would be.
